Martin Cummings, Commercial General Manager, Evolution Mining
Martin Cummings, BCom, CPA, joined Evolution Mining as General Manager Commercial in 2013, and leads the Treasury, Group Supply, Insurance and Business Planning functions of the Evolution Group.
Martin has over 20 years experience in finance and commercial roles in Australia and the UK including the last 15 years within the Australian resources and energy sector.
Before joining Evolution, Martin lead the commercial group for Australian and Indonesian Operations at Newcrest Mining, and prior to that in senior finance and treasury roles with Lihir Gold and Energex Retail (subsequently acquired by Origin Energy).
Cameron Alexander, Director of Precious Metals, Asia & Middle East, Thomson Reuters
Cameron Alexander holds the position of Manager, Precious metals Demand – Asia and the Middle East -at Thomson Reuters GFMS. He has 15 years experience in the precious metals markets.
In his current role he is responsible for the precious metals research across South East Asia, Australasia, Middle East, and Indian Sub- Continent. His main area of research covers jewellery, industrial, and investment demand as well as scrap supply and metal flows from these key regions.
Cameron regularly attends conferences and GFMS briefings as a speaker. Prior to GFMS, Cameron worked for over seven years with Australian based precious metals refiner AGR Matthey (Perth Mint) in the position of Commercial Manager. He is based in Perth, Australia.
Ron Dutta, Consultant, Finpacific Treasury Systems
As a former Corporate Treasurer of TransGrid, Ron Dutta has wealth of experience in strategies and managing treasury risk across financing, liquidity, interest rates, FX and commodities. Currently Ron is a business development consultant with a focus on commodities at Finpacific Treasury Systems. A Chartered Accountant and a Masters degree holder in Business Administration, Ron has previously worked in EY, PWC and Bank of America in senior roles in a career spanning over 30 years.
